I read the comments here, and Tsitovich’s boast made me laugh. Betelgeuse - you were probably specifically persuaded to write something like this here, and was it Tsitovich herself by chance? Admit it honestly, or are you one of her favorites? Because a normal person in their right mind would not want to write such a thing will arise by definition. As far as I remember her lectures, I’ve been getting jitters. She doesn’t know how to give lectures (no systematics, some kind of incoherent pun, I just don’t want to go to such lectures) and she doesn’t want to be able to, but to me she’s a practicing lawyer, I imagine how her clients shy away, because there is absolutely no culture of communication with people, it costs her nothing to be rude, insolent, or calling her names. A practicing lawyer is, first of all, a culture of communication, to be able to win people over in order to understand the essence of a case or problem, in particular in court specific proceedings. This is definitely not about Tsitovich. Let him at least learn not to be rude to others. And I agree with those who wrote above that the vocabulary is like that of a fraternity in the zone, and that’s even putting it mildly. Therefore, I don’t know what kind of clients she even has maybe, give at least one example. Because how a person behaves in one place, he will behave this way everywhere and lack of culture is immediately revealed in the manner of communicating with people, and Tsitovich clearly does not know how to control himself, such practicing lawyers certainly don’t give a damn to anyone gave up. I myself studied at this then institute 6 years ago. And I managed to study Tsitovich very well, she is nothing good, she is rude, what else should we look for, if she is openly rude to students, then you can imagine how she behaves in In general, more specifically, what kind of practicing lawyer is she, tell everyone the secret?

In general, everyone who wants to study to become a lawyer should avoid this so-called “academy”. In 5 years they will blow your mind, and you will simply waste the money on training. You simply will not be needed by anyone, you will not be able to get a job anywhere, tested on your own bitter experience. Those who dream of later getting into Rospatent, don’t even try, you won’t get there, they will send you, but politely, I also went through this.

  • Therefore, go to normal universities if you want to become a good lawyer, for example, MFLA, MSLA and others, which are well-known, and not like RGAIS, which simply changed the sign with the pretentious name - academy. But if you dig, then this institute is the bottom, about which no one knows and it’s not on the lists of universities at all, and you definitely won’t find it in the top hundred. Don’t waste your nerves and, most importantly, money, otherwise it will be difficult to transfer to another university after it without wasting time, since the disciplines are different , and many of them are generally not needed and will not be useful to a lawyer. So draw the appropriate conclusions.
  • The Academy received the status of a state educational institution of higher professional education on the basis of the order of the Government of the Russian Federation dated September 26, 1994 No. 1542-r. RGAIS was created by transforming the following legal entities:

  • By order Federal service on intellectual property, patents and trademarks No. 63-a dated May 24, 2011, the name “State educational institution of higher professional education “Russian State Academy of Intellectual Property”” is stated in the following wording “Federal state budgetary educational institution of higher professional education “Russian State Academy of Intellectual Property”” (FSBEI HPE RGAIS).

In 1968, the Central Institute for Advanced Training of Managers and National Economy Specialists in the Field of Patent Work (CIPC) was created, which became a forge of certified patent scientists in the USSR.

During this period, the institute trained hundreds of thousands of patent specialists for our country and other countries. Branches were created in almost all republics of the former Soviet Union. The Institute was the only educational institution in the USSR working in the field of intellectual property and producing qualified patent specialists in all fields, be it chief engineers, heads of patent departments or directors of enterprises.

By Decree of the President of the Russian Federation dated February 12, 1993 No. 223, the organization of training of specialists in the field of protection and defense of industrial property was entrusted to the Committee of the Russian Federation on Patents and Trademarks. The practice of applying the laws of the Russian Federation that have entered into force on legal protection intellectual property, as well as consideration of organizational issues at state level fight against violation of intellectual property rights have shown the urgent need of society for specialists with full-fledged vocational training in this area. In this regard, since 1998, RGAIS has been training lawyers with a specialization in the field of legal protection of intellectual property, and since 1999, training managers with a specialization in the field of economics and commercial use of intellectual property in accordance with a license.

Issues of creation, management, legal protection and commercial use of intellectual property have always been of interest for the formation of relations between an individual and society in one context or another. This interest was not always determined by the desire for profit; as a rule, it was based on the priority of the right to the idea.

The Academy of Intellectual Property has come a glorious way. More than ten well-known and authoritative organizations in the field of advanced training, industrial and intellectual property, patents and trademarks participated in the establishment of RGAIS. The Academy was created with the support of higher government agencies.

Academy of Intellectual Property: A Brief History

In the sixties of the previous century, a central educational institution for advanced training of managers and national economy specialists in the field of patent work (CIPC) was formed, which quickly became a source of certified patent scientists in the USSR.

Over the course of several decades, hundreds of thousands of patent specialists were trained and their own branches were created. CIPC was a unique educational institution in its field of competence, a school of specialists in patent work wide profile: chief engineers, heads of patent departments, heads of enterprises and organizations.

In the 90s, the Russian leadership paid enough attention to the problem of IP (intellectual property). The training of specialists in this field was entrusted to the relevant state committees. The practice of laws on the legal protection of IP has shown the real need of society for these specialists.

Directions and forms of training at the academy

RGAIS - a unique higher educational institution in Russia. Those entering the academy are offered training:

  • at the Faculty of Law;
  • Faculty of IP Management;
  • in graduate school;
  • in doctoral studies.

The Academy provides preparatory courses in the Russian language, mathematics, social studies and history for 11th grade students, college students and others with complete secondary education. Successful passing the Unified State Exam guarantees a contract place in RGAIS.

All forms of training are practiced in almost all major specialties:

  • full-time;
  • part-time;
  • correspondence

Experienced teachers with academic degrees of doctors and candidates of sciences take part in the training of highly qualified specialists in the main areas of study (law, management and intellectual property management).

The Russian Academy of Intellectual Property issues certified specialists by activity profile:

  • legal protection of intellectual property;
  • intellectual property management;
  • patent engineer

Those wishing to obtain the third level of higher education are offered postgraduate and doctoral studies. The training of scientific and pedagogical personnel is a priority for the scientific activities of the academy. Doctoral studies are a form of training of scientific personnel: an employee engaged in active teaching and scientific activities can be sent to doctoral studies.

Reviews about RGAIS

Profile of the academy's activities, its social significance and the rapid growth in the need for “intellectual specialists” is causing mixed reviews.

Some are proud of the university with which they spent several years together, others value the book collection of the library, which allowed them to gain truly diverse knowledge throughout all years of study.

The Russian State Academy of Intellectual Property enjoys well-deserved respect in society and has a high rating. Reviews, as a rule, are biased and reflect the point of view of their author, expressed through the prism of acquired knowledge: there was a desire to learn - there is knowledge, there was no desire - there is a review adequate to this reluctance.

The priority of one’s own opinion has always been a fundamental concept of every person, but something is always objectively different: the presence of knowledge of a certain person gives a justified right to the priority and significance of the opinion of this particular person.

Prospects for the Academy and Problems of Intellectual Property

Russian State Academy of Intellectual Property - educational institution federal significance. The history of the academy is a history of a certain kind public relations.

Firstly, this is the history of the attitude towards the problem on the part of the state and big business. Secondly, on the part of the creator of an intellectual idea or the owner of an intangible asset.

The spectrum and specificity of social relations is actually much deeper and wider, but in essence, RGAIS is a kind of center, if not of gravity, then of obvious and significant significance for the country as a whole. The problem of intellectual property has moved into a state of obvious understanding, but until it is solved specific situations still far enough away.

It is objective and original that the history of RGAIS includes two stages:

  • the calm 60s, denial of cybernetics and “computing”;
  • the turbulent 90s, when intelligence was forgotten; in those years the important was not seen, the unimportant was appreciated.

It is strange and remarkable that the highest government institutions and top officials of the country found time for intelligence and formation in precisely these years. state relations to related and related problems. This means that the Russian State Academy of Intellectual Property has a great future.
