Filling out an application for a Schengen visa to Italy. Self-acquisition of a Greek Schengen visa, including without an official place of work Duration of stay or transit specify the number of days

New rules that came into force in 2015 in the Schengen area for visitors. How to correctly calculate the period of stay in the Schengen. What does 90 days visa mean?
- a very convenient way of unhindered movement almost throughout Europe. Having received permission to enter one European country, you can travel almost throughout Europe, stopping at the border, perhaps for a photographic capture of this fact. No queues, customs inspection and passport control.

Quiet European street, in "Old Europe"

But one should not think that there is no control at all. In fact, in the Schengen free zone there are quite strict rules for entry on a Schengen visa, place and duration of stay. Ignoring which may close the possibility of obtaining permission to enter the country in the future.

Despite the fact that initially and still the European Union proclaimed the freedom of movement of people without borders, there are certain Schengen rules regarding foreigners. Which also apply in 2019.

There are only three of them:

  • First entry rule;
  • Main country rule;
  • Limitation of stay.

If you are going on a trip to Europe, you should carefully study them before applying for a visa. Because the violation of these, at first glance, uncontrolled rules, can lead to very sad consequences. Because the lack of supervision over their implementation is only apparent.

First entry rule

There is no Schengen country on the map. This is just a village in Luxembourg where an agreement was signed almost thirty years ago to abolish visa regime between five European countries. And today, the Schengen zone already includes two and a half dozen countries. And you need to get a visa in one of them.

If you plan to visit only one country, then everything is quite simple. You need to collect all the documents and go to the appropriate embassy, consulate, Visa Center or travel agency. Even if later you want to go on an excursion to a neighboring country, no one will have questions.

But Europe is not that big. You can easily cross it by car or train for a fairly short term. And the lack of boundaries makes this event simple and easy. And it seems to some that you can apply for any visa at the embassy that is conveniently located. But it's not.

The first entry into the Schengen area must be in the country that issued the visa. This is the first entry rule. But a literal understanding of this rule gives rise to confusion and myths that it should not be violated in any case. Therefore, you should start your trip exactly in the state where you applied for a visa.

It should not be thought that if issued, then it will not be possible to get into any other country earlier. No one will close the border in front of a tourist if he flew to Paris and gets further by bus or car. This rule works a little differently.

For holders of a single-entry visa, it means that they must spend most of their trip in the country whose visa they received.

Travel through other countries, not exceeding 1-5 days, will be considered as transit. This is true, for example, for bus tours or for those traveling by car.

But for those who plan to take advantage of approximately the same length of stay in several countries, the order of their visit already matters. However, even in these situations, violation of this rule does not have serious consequences.

Just if the country of the first entry does not match the visa that you received, when applying for the next one, you can get a recommendation to contact another embassy. When the reason for the refusal is only a violation of the rule of the first entry, then you should not have problems with a repeated multivisa.

Multivisa sample.

There is one more situation when this rule should be taken into account when choosing a country for obtaining a visa. It is mainly associated with car trips. In this situation, it may turn out that in the country through whose territory you have to pass on the way back and forth, in total, more time will be accumulated than in any other.

For example, on a trip to the Scandinavian countries, you will have to spend the night at 2 nights on the way there, then spend a couple of days in Norway and Sweden and, returning through Finland, again stay there for the night. It turns out that you will have to stay in the territory of this particular country for the longest time, in addition, it is the first on the list. So, for a visa, you will need to apply to the Finnish consulate.

Principal host country rule

Another, at first glance, optional rule. It concerns only short-term visas, and it does not matter whether it is a single entry or a multivisa. issued to someone who is going to live, study or work in a particular country, already implies choosing it as the main one.

The rule of the main country also applies to rather rare cases of issuing a double-entry visa. transit visa. It is issued if a transfer is planned in one of the Schengen countries for further travel outside the region and subsequent return. The principle of application of the rule is the same. Where there are more overnight stays during transit, there is the main country. For equal length of stay, the rule of the country of first entry applies.

Length of stay in the Schengen area

Recently, or rather, since October 18, 2013, changes in the rules for entering the Schengen countries have come into force, which are also valid in 2019. The new rules apply to the length of stay in Europe. Those who have a single-entry tourist visa are not affected by these innovations. But the owners of multivisa will fully experience all the disadvantages and advantages of these requirements.

As before the entry into force of the new regulation, the period of stay on a Schengen visa in any of the states remained equal to three months.

But now they will have to be used in a new way, based on the updated rules. Because now the wording has changed a bit.

If earlier there were six calendar months to use the 90 days of permissible stay in the country, after which it was possible to stay the same amount if the next visa was issued, now everything is much stricter. And to combine two periods in order to spend six months in Europe with one trip will no longer work.

This video discusses the new rules for obtaining visas for the Schengen area.

The visa half-year for each tourist will be counted individually, from the moment of the first border crossing. But not forward, but backward. During this time, you can stay in the EU countries for a total of 90 days, that is, three months. If you use them all at once, spending, for example, a summer vacation, then for the next three months, entry into Europe will be closed.

But the main thing is that, according to the new rules, the calculation of the stay of days in the Schengen becomes a rather complicated matter. In order to facilitate it, special calculators appeared on the websites of embassies, using which you can determine how many days abroad you can count on in the near future.

It should be said right away that canceling a visa and opening a new one will not help to deceive the system. All visas are taken into account, both valid and already canceled.

Any 180 days in total must not contain more than 90 days spent in the Schengen area. And the border control is being carried out carefully.

But counting the days left to stay in Europe concerns not only the tourist himself. In the event that he is not allowed into the country due to violation of existing visa regulations, then the air carrier and travel agency will be forced to return the negligent client to their homeland at their own expense. So when selling tickets and checking at the airport of departure, all this is also taken into account.

The new rules for staying on a Schengen visa are quite strict. Their introduction was aimed at cutting off those who enjoyed the ease of registration tourist visa for other, not at all tourist purposes. And also to minimize possible violations of the visa regime by not too conscientious tourists.

However, this rule still does not apply to European countries outside the Schengen area. These are Great Britain, Bulgaria, Cyprus, Ireland, Romania and Croatia. Obtaining visas and staying in these states is determined by their own legislation.

If you are going to apply for an Italian visa through the visa center, you need to make an appointment for the submission of documents, and during the registration process you will also fill out an application for a visa to Italy. Signing up for the submission of documents is mandatory, without this, documents from you simply will not be accepted!

We will analyze in detail how to register at the visa center and how to fill out the questionnaire correctly.

1. To get started, go to the page for recording an interview, and click on "New Entry". If you are applying with several people, one entry is sufficient.

2. Go to the document submission record page, select the city where you want to apply for a visa, type of visa, number of applicants (how many people are going to apply with you) and e-mail and click "Further".

3. We pass into the mode of filling out the questionnaire. We indicate the dates of the trip, then indicate the phone number and address for the delivery of documents, if you need it, and then click on "Register Applicant", after which the questionnaire opens.

4. We begin to fill out the questionnaire. The questionnaire is filled in transliteration, or in Italian. First, enter the data of the internal passport.

5. Then we enter the data of the passport.

Place of Birth indicate the same as in the passport.

Questions about country/citizenship at birth, in case of birth before 1992, it is necessary to indicate THE SOVIET UNION, for those who after - RUSSIAN FEDERATION.

Address of residence indicate in following form- For example, RUSSIA, CHELYABINSKAYA OBL., MIAS, POBEDY street., 38-4. Also in the future, indicate the address of your work.

Question "Country of residence, if not the country of citizenship" Citizens of the Russian Federation do not need to answer.

7. Here we indicate our position and data of the employer. As we were told in the Italian visa center, the position must be written in English. If you are a pensioner, student, unemployed - this is how you should write.

Main purpose of the trip - in our case, we indicate "Turi zm.

Destination city- indicate the city in which you will spend more days.

Country of first entry- indicate the country, passing the border of which you will find yourself in the Schengen zone. For example, you will fly from Moscow to Milan with a transfer in Germany, then you need to indicate “Germany” in this paragraph. The same applies to land transport.

Visa requested for (number of entries)- indicate "Multiple th entrance".

Estimated dates of entry and exit from the Schengen area- indicate the dates for the documents that you submit. You can also indicate the dates according to the following scheme: the date of entry into the Schengen area plus the desired date for obtaining a visa minus one day. Whether this will affect anything is unknown.

Length of stay or transit- here you need to indicate how much you are going to get a visa, while you need to remember that you can stay in the Schengen zone for a maximum of 90 days in half a year. This means that if you want to annual visa, you need to enter 180 days here, if 2 years - 360, etc. Another thing is that the consul may not pay attention to this, and issue an Italian visa for such a period as he considers necessary, depending on previous Schengen visas and the number of trips to the Schengen zone.

Schengen visas issued within the last three years- check the box if you had such visas, and in the next paragraph indicate the period of its validity. Also indicate if you provided fingerprints, and if you remember, the date you provided it.

Select the hotel where you will spend more days. You need to indicate the name of the hotel, then the address, postal code and phone number. I also specified the booking system (but this is not required).

Then indicate who pays for your trip - the applicant himself, or indicate otherwise (if the questionnaire is filled out for a child, then indicate “parents”).

By means You need to specify depending on "Cash", if they submitted an account statement as a fingarani, and "Credit card" if you submitted a bank card.

Also check the boxes "Prepaid transport", "Prepaid accommodation" if they are actually prepaid.

11. After we have filled in all the data, you can click on the button "Check and add applicant" in order to pass the verification of the correctness of the data harmful to us and put our name on the list of applicants. Or you can click "Save as draft" if you want to return to filling out the questionnaire later.

Thus, you can fill out the questionnaires for everyone who wants to apply for an Italian visa with you. After you do this, you can choose a free date and time for submitting documents, as well as select the main applicant, for whom the contract for the provision of services of the Italian visa center will be drawn up, and indicate his passport data and e-mail.

After verifying the correctness of the data and consent to the processing of personal data, you will receive completed questionnaires of all applicants, as well as confirmation of the appointment for submitting documents to the visa center, which you need to print and take with you to submit documents to the VC.

, now I want to update the information in accordance with the experience of obtaining a Greek Schengen visa for a child this year andan adult who does not have an official place of work, who did not previously have Schengen visas. Everything is still very simple and fast.

So, personally, everything was simple with us, having a two-year Czech visa, and going to Greece in June with a child, we issued a Greek multivisa for a child in advance in March without problems and queues. You can apply for a visa no more than 90 days before the start date of the trip, and naturally before the start of the season, it is much easier to do this - the entire procedure for submitting documents, including the waiting time in line, will not take more than 5 minutes.

The child already had one Schengen (also Greek) and we could well get the secondfor a year, but our visas expire in April 2016, and the child, as a rule, does not give a visa for a period longer than the parents have, so we asked for a visa for a child for six months and received it without any problems.

But a couple of weeks before our trip, the task of obtaining a visa became somewhat more complicated, because our friends decided to go with us for the company, previously never had a Schengen visa, a child and a grandmother, retirement age but without a formal job. Deadlines, of course, were running out, but nothing is impossible.

First of all, we clarified the period of consideration of visa applications at the visa center of Greece - it turned out that even with the onset of the season, the terms for consideration of documents do not change and are 2 working days, which means that there will be a trip!

List of visa centers Greece, where you can apply for a visa can be found. In relation to Moscow, documents are submitted without an appointment from 9 to 13 from Monday to Friday and from 10 to 13 on Saturday at the address: Nikitsky Boulevard, 17.

The list of documents required for applying for a visa:

- visa application form - in one copy (you can get the application form for free at the visa center or download it. The visa center website contains a sample of filling out the application form, if you have any doubts about filling in certain boxes, just leave them blank and when submitting documents, the staff of the visa center will tell you how to fill them in correctly. English language or in Russian, but in Latin (in Latin letters).

1) Surname - indicate as ininternational passport;

2) Last name at birth (previous or previous) - if it has not changed, indicate the same one as in the passport, if it has changed, then in Latin as you can reproduce;

3) Name - again byinternational passport;

4) Date of birth - everything is simple here - in numbers, separated by a hyphen or a dot, the day, month and year of birth;

5) Place of birth - indicate as in the passport;

6) Country of birth - depending on the year of birth, either USSR or RUSSIA;

7) Citizenship at present - RUSSIA; citizenship at birth, if different: for the older generation - USSR;

8) Gender - put a tick in front of the desired one;

9) Marital status - again, put a tick where necessary;

10) For minors: name, address (if different from applicant's address) and nationality of parents or legal representative- if the child is traveling with both parents, then it is enough to indicate only the data of the parent who submits documents for the child, if the child is traveling with a third party (in our case, with the grandmother), then the data of both parents and the date of notarized consent of the parents to departure of the child;

11) An identification number- do not fill;

12) Type of travel document - select "regular passport";

13) Travel document number - indicate the series and number of the international passport;

14-15) Date of issue and validity of the passport - as indicated in the passport;

16) Who issued the passport - we simply write RUS;

17) Home address, address Email- you want English "MOSCOW", you want Latin "MOSKVA", etc. Phone number in the format +7 .........;

18) Country of residence, if it is not a country of citizenship - put a tick "no";

19) Professional activity at present - for a young child, you can not write anything, for a schoolchild - SCHOOLBOY or SCHOOLGIRL, for employees - the name of the position, for pensioners - PENSIONER, for officially unemployed - NO OCCUPATION (you can do the same in Russian in Latin);

20) Name, address and telephone number of the employer, for students and schoolchildren - name and address educational institution- again, you can use Latin in Russian. For children attending a kindergarten, pensioners and not working, we do not fill out anything.

21) The main purpose of the trip - in our case, we choose tourism;

22) Destination countries - if only Greece we write GREECE, if there are other countries that you will visit on this trip, we indicate them all. For example, we had GREECE and HUNGARY, GRC and HUN can be abbreviated;

23) The country of the first entry - where you have to cross the Schengen zone and put an entry mark, if it is Greece - then write GREECE, we spent the first couple of days in Hungary, because the flight through Hungary was many times cheaper, and there are a lot of interesting things for a child in Budapest (however, this is a separate story), so we had HUNGARY. I note right away that the country of the first departure for obtaining a Schengen visa is absolutely not critical, it is only important that in the country where you apply for a visa, you will spend more days, even if you do not have a mark on crossing their border and even if you spend there just 1 day more;

24) Indicate whether you are applying for a visa for single, double or multiple entry - if you already had Schengen visas, I advise you nothurry up with filling in this column and clarify, when submitting documents, whether you have the right to ask for a multiple-entry visa;

25) Duration of stay or transit - you must specify the number of days of stay - if this is the first Schengen visa, then indicate the number of days of actual stay in the Schengen area, if not the first, then specify when submitting documents, if you are eligible for a multivisa, then indicate 90 days ( maximum term stay in the Schengen area for six months);

26) Schengen visas issued in the last three years (you can also indicate earlier ones, if any) - either check the box "no" or check the box next to "yes" and indicate the validity period of previously issued visas (according to data from the passport) and you can also indicate the countries that issued them;

27) Fingerprints provided earlier when applying for a Schengen visa - since fingerprints for a visa will be required from us only from September 14, 2015, for now we write “no” with a clear conscience;

28) Permission to enter the country of final destination, if necessary - in case you are going further to some country where a special permit or other visa is needed, in our case we simply do not fill out;

29) Estimated date of entry into the Schengen zone - set the date of crossing the Schengen zone (date of arrival or arrival);

30) Estimated date of departure from the Schengen area - if a visa is requested for one trip, then the date of departure or departure from the last of the countries of stay in the Schengen area, if a multiple visa is requested, for example, for a year, then indicate the date in a year, for example, at 29 -th paragraph on 06/04/2015, and in the 30th paragraph - on 06/03/2016;

31) Surnames and first names of the persons inviting you to the Schengen area, or the name of the hotel (hotels), address, email and phone number of the inviting person or hotel - everything is simple with the hotel, but if you have booked apartments, for example, then indicate the last name and first name the owner of the accommodation, and the address on the booking confirmation, as well as the email and phone number of the owner of the accommodation. If you have several places of residence and all do not fit in this field, indicate only the one or those that are in Greece (hotels and places of residence in other countries do not really care about them when issuing visas);

32) Name, address and other data of the inviting organization - is filled in only in case of a trip at the invitation of the organization, in our case we leave them empty;

33) We indicate who pays the applicant's expenses: the first column - a checkmark is made if the expenses are paid by the applicant himself, the second, if the sponsor. In any case, in the first column, if at the time of submitting the documents the air tickets and accommodation have already been paid, check the boxes next to the "prepaid place of residence" and "prepaid transport" boxes, if you pay the expenses yourself, then also check the boxes "cash" and " credit card". The second column contains information about sponsorship, first of all - the name and surname of the sponsor or the name of the sponsor's organization (by the way, no one bothers to simultaneously indicate both self-payment of part of the expenses and the presence of sponsorship, for example, when applying for a visa for pensioners who cannot confirm sufficient income). Next, put a checkmark in front of those types of expenses that the sponsor undertakes - for example, to apply for a visa for children or retired parents, put one checkmark - "all expenses are paid during the stay." With regard to obtaining a Greek visa, it must be taken into account that only close relatives can be sponsors - a spouse, children, parents, grandparents, and we were told at the visa center that it is better for a child to have a sponsorship letter from one of the parents than from the accompanying a child on a grandmother's trip;

34-35) To be filled in if there is a close relationship with citizens of the European Union, the European Economic Area or Switzerland;

36-37) Place, date and signature of the person himself or his legal representative submitting documents, and similarly at the end of the next page.

With filling out the questionnaire, that's all - no difficulties, only 10-15 minutes of time to accurately fill in all the columns. If you are too lazy, then at the visa center for, it seems, 200 rubles per person, they can fill out the questionnaire for you, but I repeat, there is nothing difficult to do it yourself.

- 2 color photographs 3.5 by 4.5 cm (however, they are usually standard everywhere);

- original Russian passport and photocopies of all its completed pages ;

- international passport , valid for at least three months from the date of the intended (last) departure from the Schengen area, as well as photocopies of all completed pages of the passport, including pages with all border crossing stamps, as well as previous passport (if any) and photocopies of its first page and pages with Schengen visas issued within the last three years;

- travel health insurance for the entire period of the trip (if a multiple-entry visa is requested, then it is enough to provide insurance only for the first trip) in the amount of at least 30,000 euros (no franchise). .

- proof of residence - booking a hotel, house, apartment and confirmation of prepayment of accommodation in the amount of at least 30%. For the purposes of booking confirmation, booking forms of such sites as www.booking.com or www.agoda.com, etc., are suitable, and you can compare and find the best prices for hotels in order to decide which site is better to book on, on ROOMGURU.RU. When booking a house or apartment on , a printout of the booking confirmation from their website is also great for confirming the booking. When booking directly on the website of a hotel or apartment, simply ask the owner to send you an official confirmation for a visa, they send scans, where they indicate all the necessary information - the names of the guests, the address of the accommodation, the length of stay, the cost of living and the amount of the prepayment.

Since a minimum 30% deposit for accommodation is now required to obtain a Greek visa, proof of payment must also be provided. If you pay online, including through PayPal, or when booking through booking.comor A irbnb , You will need to take a printout from the bank on the bank card account, where the corresponding payment transaction will be visible. If you write off directly with the owners of apartments (houses), then as a rule you are offered to pay an advance payment using the details of the bank account provided, then you provide copies of payment documents from the bank to the visa center. By the way, with such payment to the account foreign person in euros, in a number of banks we have encountered the fact that they do not know how to make such payments and require the opening of an account in euros, which is illegal, because. our legislationprovidesthe possibility of making a money transfer non-resident in foreign currency without opening a foreign currency account. In Sberbank, there are no problems with such payment, and the money already reaches Greece in a few hours, but a commission of 13 euros is taken from each payment (and the exchange rate in Sberbank is usually very unfavorable, so it is better to pay the payment amount in foreign currency, and not in rubles).

- route confirmation - the simplest is air tickets. If you are traveling by car, you must provide an itinerary indicating the dates of your stay in each country on the way to Greece, a photocopy technical passport car, driving license and international car insurance (Green Card);

- proof of employment and/or financial resources:

- for working- the original certificate from the place of work indicating the position, term of work and average monthly salary. The certificate must be issued on the letterhead of the company (indicating the address and telephone numbers), certified by the signature of the responsible person and the seal and issued no earlier than a month before the submission of documents;

- For individual entrepreneurs - permission to exercise entrepreneurial activity(certificate of registration of IP, certificate of registration in tax authority) and a copy of the tax return;

- for students- student card and certificate from the educational institution and proof of availability of funds or sponsorship;

- for pensioners- a copy of the pension certificate and confirmation of the availability of funds or sponsorship;

- for persons on maternity leave, - certificate from work on parental leave and proof of availability of funds or sponsorship;

- for non-working citizens, as well as students, pensioners, dekterniks, and working citizens who do not want to bother with obtaining a certificate from their place of work, it is enough to provide a bank statement certified by the bank's seal and issued no earlier than a month before the submission of documents. Ideally, they usually ask for an account statement for at least the previous three months, but we simply provided a certificate of the balance of money in the account (the account was only opened on the day the certificate was received, so there was no point in taking a statement for three months). In addition, I would like to emphasize that for Greek visas are accepted not only bank card account statements (as, for example, for the issuance of a Czech visa), in our case, an extract was provided indicating the presence of a deposit with such and such an account balance, and everything was accepted without problems. Regarding the required amount of confirmation - you must provide evidence of the presence on your card or account Money based on no less than the equivalent of 50 euros per person for each day of the trip;

- if it is impossible to confirm the availability of funds - confirmation of sponsorship:

1) a sponsorship letter (in any form, printed or by hand, it is not necessary to certify it, the signature of the sponsor is enough, even if he is not present when submitting documents). Sample sponsorship letter for obtaining a Greek visa:

sponsorship letter

I, ___________ (date of birth __________, passport number _____________, issued on ___________ ____________________; registration address: _________________), am the sponsor of the trip of my daughter/son/husband/wife/father/mother/grandparents __________________ (date of birth __________ , passport/birth certificate number _____________, issued on ___________ ____________________, international passport No. _________________, issued on ______________, ____________; registration address: _________________) and with this letter I guarantee payment of all expenses associated with the stay of my daughter/son/husband/ spouse/father/mother/grandparents _________________ in Greece between ___ and ____ 2015

date, signature

2) a certificate from the work of the sponsor (in the original) or documents, confirming availability of funds from the sponsor (bank statement);

3) copies of documents confirming kinship (birth certificate, marriage certificate, etc.);

4) a copy of the first page of the sponsor's civil passport.

Please note that, as I indicated earlier, only a close relative (spouses, parents, children, grandparents) can act as a sponsor

- For minors are also provided with the following documents :

1) original and photocopy of birth certificate;

2) consent of the parent (parents) or legal representative for the departure of the child and its photocopy(a photocopy is given, the original is presented for viewing): if the child is traveling with one of the parents, or the dates of the trip of the child and any of the parents do not coincide, it is necessary to provide a notarized permission to leave from the parent who does not accompany the child during the entire trip, and Also a photocopy of the page with personal data of the parent's passport, or a photocopy of it valid visa covering the period of the trip to Greece. If the child is not accompanied by parents, but by another person, it is necessary to provide consent from both parents, as well as photocopies of the page with the personal data of the parents' general passport.

The exception is in cases where the parent with whom the minor is traveling has all parental rights (i.e. in cases where the other parent has died or been deprived of parental rights), to confirm which it is necessary to provide a death certificate of the second parent or a court decision on deprivation of parental rights.

If minor child are requesting a multi-visa, the consent to leave the child must cover the entire requested period.

The dates indicated in the questionnaire must clearly correspond to the period indicated in the consent. In addition, the consent must indicate not just "Schengen countries" or similar general wording, but the name of each country that you intend to visit. Exit consent form minor child abroad:

AGREEMENT

In March April, the waiting time did not exceed 1-2 minutes, when submitting documents during the season - on May 28, I had to wait 10-15 minutes.

And then, as promised, in two working days the documents and visas were ready. When calculating the deadline for documents to be ready, it should be taken into account that although the visa center in Moscow began to accept and issue documents on Saturdays, Saturday is not a working day Greek consulates, therefore, when submitting documents, for example, on Thursday, count Friday and Monday as two working days. You should also take into account holidays, both Russian and Greek (they are listed on the website of the Greece Visa Application Center), in our case the holiday fell on June 1, therefore, taking into account this and the output documents submitted on May 28, were ready on June 3 (the trip began on June 7, so there was still plenty of time).

You can track the status of documents readiness on the website of the visa application center by the number that you will be given when receiving documents.

You can get a ready-made passport with a visa at the Moscow visa center from Monday to Friday from 16:00 to 18:00, on Saturday from 14:00 to 16:00.

And the last thing I would like to draw attention to: you can apply for a visa in person, their representative by proxy or a close relative (spouse, children, parents,Grandmothers and grandfathers). IN last case, when submitting documents for a close relative, you need original documents confirming kinship and their photocopies: for example, in relation to filing documents for a granddaughter - a birth certificate of a child, a birth certificate of a mother or father (depending on whose side the grandmother is ), if my mother’s grandmother and mother changed their surname, then her marriage certificate is, in general, a complete set of documents tracing kinship, including when changing surnames. The originals of these documents will need to be carried with you both when submitting and receiving documents.

In our case, we issued a visa, you can sayurgently, almost a week before departure, without the personal presence of the child's parents and the child himself, all the documents were submitted and received by the grandmother. Despite the absence of an official place of work, both she and the child were given a visa without any problems (a sponsorship letter from the father was provided for the child, a bank deposit account statement for the grandmother indicating only the balance of the account in the required amount). So everything is not at all so scary and you can get a Schengen visa and non-working people quickly and without problems.

Have a good holiday in Greece, where, despite the crisis, everything is still there - the sun, and the clear sea, and inexpensive tasty fruits and vegetables, and delicious fresh fish, and beautiful landscapes and just a good mood!!!

Italy is one of the most attractive countries in Europe and around the world, so crowds of tourists visit this country.

Already in 2016, it became possible to obtain a visa to Italy for 2 years, which is an absolute convenience for regular visitors to the country. Italy rarely uses the right to refuse a visa without stating the reasons.

The applicant for a visa undertakes to take fingerprints every 5 years (the agreement was adopted by the Schengen countries in September 2015). Recipient visa document must be a law-abiding tourist, which means compliance with the terms of stay in the country, no clashes with local authorities, the use of a visa within the established rules.

Documents must be submitted by appointment and in advance.

To become the owner Italy visa for two years You must submit your own paperwork. In extreme cases, it is allowed to transfer a package of documents through relatives, but a notarized power of attorney is required.

It is equally important to know that those who have already visited the countries of the Schengen zone over the past three years and have definitely been to Italy at least once during this time can apply for a two-year visa.

From personal experience I can say that I received the first Italian visa for one year, having previously had two Schengen visas of other countries in the last 2 years- Spanish semi-annual and Czech weekly. After that I got an Italian visa for two years.

What documents need to be collected:

  • completed visa application form;
  • original valid passport;
  • a copy of the main spread of the international passport, where there is a photo and personal data of the applicant;
  • if any, then old passports or their copies with visas for the last three years;
  • two photographs of size 3.5x4.5 cm or 3x4 cm;
  • valid internal passport of the Russian Federation;
  • air tickets indicating the date of return (or tickets for other transport) or reservation of air tickets (or for other transport);

These documents for a Schengen visa to Italy must be provided to all persons who want to obtain a category C entry permit, including tourists. The main list does not depend on the place of application, only on the type of visa requested for processing. Accordingly, the documents for an Italian visa in Moscow are the same as in other cities, there are no differences.
