• one photo, but even if there is no photo, you can get away with a fine of about 3-5 USD;

It was this option of obtaining a Cambodian visa that my husband and I tested on ourselves. Our path ran from Ho Chi Minh to the seaside resort of Kaboji Sihanoukville. And we drove into the country by bus through the border crossing of Bavet. Everything went quickly and without any problems, although in preparation for the trip I read a lot on the forums that cases of fraud became more frequent with an increase in the flow of tourists. At the same time, e-Visa is also given for 30 days, with a corridor for entry of 90 days. It is available to citizens of almost all countries, except for some countries in Africa and the Middle East.

But it is important to know that if you have this visa, you can enter the country only through the airports of Siem Reap and Phnom Penh, as well as through certain land crossings, but you can leave anywhere. You can view the list of available points of entry, as well as order a visa.

Another minus is that an electronic visa cannot be extended, and if you suddenly want to stay in Cambodia longer than expected, you will have to cross the border and apply for a new visa.
